mya/missy - my love is like... whoa

missy sounds like a boy in this song - i like it when she does this, for instance when she looked like little richard and/or prince in the hot boyz video. it has a tropical carmen miranda feeling, and even tho i think the last line in the chorus is kind of stupid ('and you're kissing it/ so whatchu think of it'... it's like when a coworker of mine that i hate makes a blindingly obvious comment and then nudges me and repeats it when i don't reply right away. missy has that vibe about her sometimes - a lot lately actually! - but it's pretty well restrained here, except for this line) this song is infectious and makes me wish it was summer here. the production is like a stretched out banana lounge version of aaliyah's 'extra smooth' and must have come out of the same batch as that kiley dean song.
