sticky ft jason jermaine - something good

fucking hell it is hot. i just read that sticky first tried his hand at ukg with the rmx of (now 1xtra dj) nesha's "what's it gonna be" after they made the rnb version together. common sense tells us it's fucking tough to make beats for a long time and still be the exhuberant graf dude with a swag bag of sprays and a gigantic plain wall in front of you, but i swear even with all them bizarre comedy records and endless recycling, sticky still got some kind of beautiful ukg magic! usually when he reaches for greatness, as with for instance joy's "beggin" or slk's "hype hype" (good tune made amazing by crazy energetic vocal performances MAYBE THE BEST I EVER HEARD! get lost with your dystopian wonder rmx), it's about sticky's melodic rainbow world serving a hot vocal.

j jermaine on "something good" is going for a kinda golden age c david level of moreish fem virility, also i am reminded of kevin lyttle's 'yeah i'm a man - A MAN WHO'S ALL TINGLY tee hee hee' vibe on "turn me on", cool! for all that, "something good" has it's own special alchemy in the way it connects youngstar style kick'n'clap flurry with salsa patter; ricky martin would love this shit. sticky's magic is i guess to make you forget the mechanics and feel the rainbow rush.

OH YEAH LOOK OUT FOR THE SPIZZAZZZ TOP TEN R'N'G RECORDS COMING SOON
